ITINERARY

DAY-1

DAY 1: Arrive Hanoi

  • Arrive at Hanoi between 2-4 pm and check in to our hotel. From there, venture on to explore the Old Quarter. This fascinating network of narrow alleys and shop houses is also known as The 36 Streets, each street being named after the merchandise traditionally sold there, ranging from fabrics, crafts, medicines and even tombstones. A handicraft lover’s paradise, the Old Quarter is a fascinating area to explore local life & indulge in very interesting shopping.
  • Welcome Dinner at Local Vietnamese Restaurant at Old Quarter.

TIPs of the day:

  • Have a taste of Pho & Banh mi – the popular street food items.
  • Get ready to do loads of shopping at Old Quarter, the shopper’s paradise.

DAY 2: Halong Bay Cruise

  • After breakfast, we embark on Halong Bay cruise. The cruise starts from Hon Gai Harbor, Ha Long City. Enjoy the lunch while Cruising through Bai Tu Long. Explore Vung Vieng Village where you can photograph daily life of the fisher communities with bamboo boat (one hour) or kayaking around Vung Vieng area (one hour).
  • Swimming/ Sunbathing and Relaxing at Ban Chan Beach : Relax and enjoy the sunset cocktail while the boat is cruising to Cong Dong – Cong Do area. We dock for overnight after BBQ Dinner. You can enjoy a free evening or take part in some other activities like board games, squid fishing, karaoke (on request).

You can also relax with a variety of drink at our luxury sundeck bar (chargeable).

DAY-3

DAY 3: Halong Bay, Hanoi, Sa Pa

  • Begin your day with participating in Tai chi workouts on the sundeck of your Cruise. After breakfast, explore the Thien Canh Son Cave. Spend your morning relaxing on the sundeck or watching fruits carving demonstration.
  • Witness the last of the picturesque scenery of Ha Long Bay over lunch as the boat cruises back to shore. Transfer back to Hanoi. Stop for shopping at local stores on the way.
  • Early Dinner and night train to Sa Pa.

DAY 4: Sa Pa - Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van – Sa Pa

  • Check in to your hotel at Sa Pa. After breakfast, we start our Digital Detox walk by trekking down to the south east of Sa Pa along the side of Muong Hoa valley to Y Linh Ho village of the Black H’mong. Then, a 2km-trek down to Lao Chai village, through terraced rice fields to Ta Van village of the Dzay minority people.
  • Enjoy a traditional Vietnamese lunch with a local family at their home restaurant. This gives you a great chance to learn about the local house architecture which is full of their daily life styles and exclusive customs.
  • Dinner at local restaurant at Sa Pa town.

DAY 5: Cat Cat – Sin Chai – Lao Cai – Hanoi

Overnight train to Hanoi

  • A walk down to the South-west of Sa Pa (around 4 km) to visit Cat Cat village of the Black H’mong. Relax at the foot of the stunning waterfall and the vestige of a hydroelectric power station that was constructed by the French during the colonial time in Vietnam.
  • From here you can enjoy huge stunning landscapes on the way back to Sa Pa by jeep. Lunch at Sa Pa town.
  • Take a fresh shower in the hotel, early dinner at a local restaurant in Sa Pa town, before heading to Lao Cai train station for the night train back to Ha Noi.

DAY 6: Hanoi, Seam Reap

  • Early morning check-in at Hanoi. After breakfast, we head to Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple, located in heart of Hanoi, which contains an islet with the tiny Tortoise Pagoda. Alternatively, you can visit Old Quarter again.
  • Lunch at Old Quarter.
  • Catch the evening flight to Siam Reap.
  • On arrival our tour guide will take you to hotel for check-in. Free evening and leisure on your own time. After dinner you can go to Pub Street by your own to enjoy the evening amongst travellers from various nationalities !

DAY-7

DAY 7: Siem Reap – Angkor Thom & Angkor Wat

  • Early morning witness the sunrise at Angkor Wat with a breathtaking view. After breakfast at hotel, we visit the “Great City” of Angkor Thom, visits include the famous Bayon Temple, Phimeanakas Temple within the Royal Palace enclosure, Baphuon Temple, the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King.
  • Afternoon is dedicated to visit the most famous & magnificent 12th century architectural masterpiece of Angkor Vat temple, covering an area of about 210 hectares. With many galleries with columns, libraries, pavilions, courtyards and ponds full of water, carved low-reliefs about Ramayana Story and day-to-day life at the time of Angkor’s construction. At the end of afternoon, we enjoy sunset at Prae Rup temple.
  • Evening & Dinner at Pub Street.

DAY 8: Siem Reap

  • This morning we will enjoy a boat ride on the Tonle Sap Lake. This is the largest permanent fresh-water lake in South East Asia and flows into Tonle Sap River, joining the Mekong in Phnom Penh. We will see a fishermen’s “floating village” with floating schools, floating police station, etc.
  • On the way back we will take sometimes to visit the famous Handicraft school of Artisan d’Angkor and the local Market of Phsar Chas. Free at your leisure for evening.
  • Goodbye Dinner and Party at Pub Street.
DAY-8

DAY 9: Siem Reap – Departure to your home destination

  • Transfer to the Siem Reap Airport from where you’ll catch your flight back to your home destination.
