ITINERARY

Day by Day

DAY 1: Arrive In Cairo

  • Arrive at Cairo International Airport by 2 – 4  Pm, meet our ROV Local Representative and private transfer to your Luxury 5 Star hotel in Cairo.
  • Check in to your hotel and relax a bit or dive into the hotel’s shimmering outdoor pool. Later meet your fellow Voyagers and get ready for  ‘Beast of a Feast’ welcome dinner.

DAY 2: Giza Pyramids, Sphinx - The Bazar

  • After Breakfast, meet our ROV Egyptologist Guide and Driver, we start off towards the Great Pyramid of Giza as you wander through passageways leading to the impressive burial chamber. You’ll visit the enigmatic Sphinx at Giza and the smaller Pyramids of Pharaohs Chephren and Mycerinus, plus the tombs of their queens and princesses.
  • After our lunch at a local restaurant, we will make for our next stop at The Egyptian Museum which has more than 250,000 pieces display a rare collection of Egyptian art Over 5,000 years. You’ll explore the culture and history of Egypt even further on the following day with visits to the Citadel of Saladin, the Mosque of Mohamed Ali and the dizzying bazaars of Khan el Khalili.

DAY 3: Flight to Luxor - Luxor East Bank - Nile Cruise

  • After Breakfast, meet our ROV Local Representative at the hotel, check out and transfer you to Cairo airport to take your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival at Luxor airport, transfer to your Nile Cruise by a private A/C van. Embarkation before 12:00 PM. Afternoon, you will discover the East bank of Luxor including Karnak Temples Complex.
  • Later on, you will proceed to visit the Temple of Luxor, which was built by one of the kings of the 12th dynasty and completed by the well know king Ramses II. This temple was located in the heart of ancient Thebes and, like Karnak, was dedicated to the main/chief god Amun Re. After finishing your day tour, you will be transferred back to your cruise for rest and refresh. At night, Egyptian folkloric show will be operated by the staff and a delicious dinner will be served.

DAY 4: Hot Air Balloon - Luxor West Bank - Sail to Edfu

  • Early morning, pick up for the Hot Air Balloon flight over the temples and the river Nile. Come back from this extraordinary experience and enjoy your breakfast.
  • After Breakfast, meet our ROV Local Guide / Driver and you will start your magical tour in Thebes, the sacred land by exploring the west bank of Luxor including Valley of the Kings, which considers as the royal cemetery of the Theban kings and rulers of ancient Egypt, and the place where our Pharaohs were buried, visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari. At the end of the tour, you will visit Colossi of Memnon, which is belonging to king Amenhotep III. After that, you will return to your cruise to have your lunch. Afternoon, free at leisure to do some photography from the cruise or chat and drink

DAY 5: Edfu - Kom Ombo - Sail to Aswan

Overnight stay in the Luxury Cruise

  • Breakfast on the cruise. Then meet our ROV Local Guide who will take you on a mysterious journey to the land of secrets. This guided tour of today begins by visiting one of the most wonderful temples in Egypt, Temple of Horus in Edfu, which is considered to be one of the most well-preserved temples in Egypt. After that, you will be back to your Cruise. Lunch will be served on board during sailing to the city of Kom Ombo.
  • Afternoon, you will proceed to explore the Temple of Kom Ombo, where the two Gods Sobek & Haroeris were worshipped for a while. After the tour, you will get back to your Cruise, rest and refresh on board. Dinner meal will be served on board during sailing to the city of Aswan. Late evening arrives in Aswan.

DAY 6: Philae Temple - The High Dam - Flight to Cairo

  • After Breakfast, check out from your Luxury Nile Cruise. then you will join your ROV Egyptologist Guide to discover the great city of Aswan, including The High Dam, which has been erected by the Egyptian president Gamal Abdel Nasser in 1960 AD to protect Egypt from the Nile flood.
  •  After that, you will enjoy sailing on the Nile River by a motorboat till reach Agilika Island, where you will visit Temple of Philae, which was erected during the Greco-Roman period and was dedicated to Goddess Isis (mother of God Horus).
  • After finishing your day tour, you will fly to Cairo in the afternoon , in Cairo you will visit by the beginning of the evening a spectacular place , you will have a nice walk around Elmoez street, where the old mosques and schools of Cairo was built , some of the buildings dates to 1200 A.D, by the end of this amazing street you will go around Khan Elkhaleely , the old market of Cairo to have a walk and to set later around a local coffee shop (Alfeshawy Café ) , then you will check in to your hotel.

DAY 7: Overday Trip to Alexandria

  • After Breakfast at our hotel, meet our ROV Local Egyptologist Guide and Driver for a day trip to Alexandria, a Mediterranean port city. Once you arrive in Alexandria, you will start there by visiting Kom Ash-Shuqqafa, the Old Roman catacombs, it’s 3 levels of burial rooms with amazing history you will definitely enjoy it, also when you are in Alexandria you can’t miss visiting the fortress of Qaitbay, then it’s time for you to explore the Library of Alexandria, it’s one of the 4thlargest in the world, after touring around Alexandria we will drive back to Cairo and enjoy your Farewell Drinks Session.

DAY 8: Farewell and Good Bye

  • Voyagers It’s the end of the road for your Egyptian adventure and time to say Good Bye and make your way to the Cairo International Airport from where you’ll catch your flight back to your home destination.
  • Feel free to ask us if you want to arrange to delay your return to reality after this amazing Egyptian experience and add two-three days to discover Hurghada, the beach resort town stretching some 40km along Egypt’s Red Sea coast.
